Despite the dramatic arrival in thunder and lightening, and a dash through a hail storm to get to the venue, everyone had a fantastic day at Dance Live! The pupils represented AMS superbly and danced with such energy it was emotional to watch. Our tech crew of Jack, Herbie, Phoebe and Lexi handled taking on the roles of lighting and filming brilliantly and were rewarded with an award for our background screen at the end of the night. The camaraderie and engagement with, not just our team, but the other schools competing, was fantastic. A special mention goes to those pupils who had not ever performed on stage before and to Mia who had the main role in the story and led the group with such drive and spirit throughout.
