English Subject Vision

Effective communication and strong literacy skills are essential life tools that support all areas of learning.  Being able to read, write, and express ideas clearly is crucial to a child's intellectual, emotional, and social growth, which is why it's a key part of our curriculum.  Our main educational goal is to ensure that every child, no matter where they start, gains the language skills, vocabulary, and abilities they need for a successful future.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to guide students through a carefully planned sequence of learning steps. Each stage builds on the last, with a strong focus on preparing students for the challenges they'll face in their future education.  We are dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of reading and excitement for literature by offering a rich and varied reading experience.  Our selection of texts is diverse, covering a wide range of cultural, historical, and social topics to inspire and engage our students.
